The production of the Bacanora was prohibited from 1915 to 1992.

In 2000, the Bacanora Protected Designation of Origin was issued exclusively for the state of Sonora.

INGREDIENTS

  • 60 ml of Bacanora Aguamiel

  • 30 ml fresh lemon juice

  • 20 ml natural syrup

  • Ginger beer top

  • Lemon slice and mint sprig to decorate

  • Ice

EL BACANORA: SONORA TRADITION

It is a distillate originating from the state of Sonora, Mexico. It is made from the cooking, fermentation and distillation of Agave Yaquiana. Protected by a unique Designation of Origin in Mexico, covering only 35 municipalities in the state of Sonora.
